CONVERSATION CARPETS
Volunteer /co-working with Amsterdam based art collective Regenboog Soulclub. Together with Lou Elie Dit Cosaque, Amin Mohammedali and the collective, we created six conversation carpets under the topic ‘Fleeing, Flying, Floating, Leaking’.
The carpets serve as an initiate for conversation and form a collective gathering. Two of the carpets directly refer and stand in solidarity to the Jin Jiyan Azadi / Women Life Freedom movement in 2022. The carpets were first exihited at the Stedelijk Museum alongside an invitation of ‘Meet the Masters’ program and they further travelled in multiple happenings in Amsterdam.
